My Philosophy -
Thank you for being here. I work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Together, we’ll explore your relationship with yourselves and with others.
I bring experience in healthcare, advocacy, and crisis support, and take a trauma-informed, compassionate, and holistic approach—one that considers both personal experiences and the larger systems we move through, while attending to mind, body, and spirit.
My aim is to create a space where playfulness and seriousness can coexist, in an environment that feels safe, warm, and accepting.

My Philosophy -
I believe every individual has a unique story that shapes who they are. You are enough and inherently valuable exactly as you show up in the therapy room. My intention is to create a safe, secure space where you can explore all parts of yourself and reconnect with the fullness of who you are.
I use an attachment-based, systemic approach to understand your experiences and gently challenge patterns that no longer align with your goals. Our work together is a space of curiosity and exploration—where you deepen your self-understanding and I have the privilege of witnessing your growth along the way.
Trust takes time to develop, so I meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your own story. I see myself as a fellow traveler, honored to walk alongside you and witness the courage it takes to begin and continue this journey of self-discovery.My Population -

Mindset is everything. Control your mind- control your life. You can achieve a good life by becoming emotionally balanced, making healthy long-term decisions, and engaging in meaningful activities, relationships, and personal growth; however, you must do the work. The depth of your work will reflect upon the changes you're willing to suffer for, and in that work, you must learn to love and forgive yourself over and over and over again. May you find your inner peace and live a prosperous life.My Population -

Erik Unzueta, AMFT | In Person & Telehealth - Children, Adolescents (Tweens), Teens, Young Adults, Adults, Older Adults, Couples ↧
My Philosophy:
I believe we all live within stories—some shaped by experience, some handed down to us, and some waiting to be rewritten. Therapy, to me, is about unpacking those stories and making space for new ones to emerge—stories that feel more honest, more empowering, and more aligned with who we really are.
Sometimes, the stories we carry about ourselves can feel limiting. Other times, our personal narratives are overshadowed by larger cultural or societal messages about who we’re supposed to be, what we should value, or how we should heal. I see therapy as a space to question those influences and re-center the parts of your story that reflect your values, hopes, and preferred identity.
I see myself as a curious companion—a fellow traveler who listens deeply and helps shine a light on the pieces of the story that may have been overlooked or forgotten.
My Population:
Adolescents (Tweens), Teens, Young Adults, Adults, Older Adults, Couples
Areas of Focus:
Depression, Anxiety, Panic, Trauma/PTSD, Anger Management, Grief and Loss, LGBTQ-affirming, BIPOC, Life Transitions, Relationships/Non-Monogamy, Spiritual work, ADHD/Neurodivergent, Stress, Womens Issues, Men's Issues, Religious Trauma, Maternal Mental Health, Addiction
Tools I use:
CBT, EFT, Narrative, & Bowen Family Systems
My approach:
Skills-based, Human Centered, Trauma-informed, Warm, Kind, Compassionate, Attachment-based, Relational, Collaborative and Compassionate, Somatic Psychology, Spirituality- Meditation
My interests:
Outside of sessions, I like to engage in activities that slow me down. Whether it's camping, working on my project car, or lifting/running; these activities give me space for self-reflection. I also enjoy playing video games, laughing with friends/family, and learning to mix music.

My Philosophy -
Whether you’re taking the first steps of your journey or continuing along a path you’ve already begun, I’d be honored to join you and help create a sense of safety in the areas of life that matter most to you. My goal isn’t to walk in front of you or behind you, but to walk beside you.

That’s why I’m committed to meeting you where you are—with curiosity, humility, empathy, creativity, and unconditional positive regard. Together, we’ll define what this space looks like, so therapy feels inclusive, affirming, and safe.

One of my main interests is exploring and learning about new things. For me, that looks like partaking in hobbies with my loved ones or trying new cuisines and entertainment of various cultures. One of my goals in life is to attend a concert of as many existing genres as I can, I don't believe in language being a barrier to that. When I'm not exploring, I embrace being a homebody (ex: binging tv shows, watching all my favorite sports teams, making art, playing video games) and I equally embrace being outdoors (ex: going on a nature walk, playing my favorite sports, etc.).

Hannah Kent, AMFT, ART-P | In Person & Telehealth - Tweens, Teens, Young Adults ↧
My Philosophy:
Deciding which aspects of your life are true, beautiful, and important to you—and which are not—isn't always easy. I hope to meet you at the intersection of discovering and building upon what matters, while letting go of what doesn’t. I'll support you until you feel safe and ready to explore what you carry on your life’s journey. My singular goal is to collaborate with you, using both talk and art therapy - all to help you feel safe, heard, validated, and empowered to lead a life that brings you joy.
Don’t be intimidated by the word ‘art’! Whether you are comfortable, curious, or hesitant about creative expression, my approach prioritizes self-exploration, focusing on the process rather than the product. Clinically trained and trauma informed, I use art as a communication tool, integrating it at a pace and in a way that feels right for you, whether it’s an elaborate piece, or a simple scribble. Research shows that all art is powerful in healing and can be effectively used to navigate trauma, relationship dynamics, stress and burnout, life changes, identity exploration, hard emotions, or just being present with yourself in a world of noise. In our time together, my hope is that we are able to explore the many beautiful, scary, and hard layers that we as humans hold. You will likely find me in the therapeutic space wearing overalls and doodling alongside you, as we work through to identify and rebuild what feels like your most authentic self and life.My Populations:

My Interests:
Running, going to the gym, playing pickleball, and just any type of movement is probably the closest I’ll get to meditation. I’m usually in the middle of multiple books at once. I am also in the middle of multiple art projects at once. I love to bake, but more importantly, I love to eat. I love to sit in the sun and watch my dog chase lizards. My favorite way to decompress at the end of the day is the big screen (tv), medium screen (computer), and little screen (phone) method.

My work is rooted in compassion and embodiment, creating space to notice what arises, reconnect with your wholeness, and cultivate agency, inner ease, and clarity. Together, we explore what it means to meet yourself with curiosity and care, and to belong within your own experience, in your relationships, and in the world around you.

My Philosophy:
If you’ve always felt like the outlier in your family, the sensitive one, the outspoken one, the one who sees the dysfunction and refuses to normalize it, you’re not too much. You’re aware.
Being the “black sheep” often means you were the first to notice what wasn’t working. It may also mean you learned to overperform, overfunction, or shrink yourself just enough to survive the system you were born into.
My work is for the ones who are done protecting what harmed them.
Together, we untangle inherited roles, unspoken rules, and the loyalty binds that kept you stuck. We honor the resilience that got you here while gently confronting the ways you may have abandoned yourself to keep the peace.
I’m direct, compassionate, and grounded. I will validate what was real, and I will challenge you when you’re ready.
This is not about becoming more palatable.
It is about becoming more aligned.
The goal is integrity. A life that feels honest, self-led, and congruent.
One that no longer requires you to betray yourself to belong. My Populations:
Young Adults, Adults
Areas of Focus:
Anxiety, Panic, Trauma/PTSD, BIPOC, Life Transitions, Relationships/Non-Monogamy, Spiritual work, Stress, Womens Issues
Tools I use:
My clinical approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your unique story. I work from a trauma-informed lens and integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help process unresolved experiences and relational patterns. I am particularly attuned to how family systems, attachment wounds, resentment, anger, and long-standing relational dynamics shape present-day functioning.
While I am naturally drawn to holistic healing, mindfulness-based therapy, and somatic practices that strengthen the mind–body connection, I intentionally blend modalities based on your goals. Depending on your needs, this may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and attachment-based approaches. My work centers on helping you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system, and move toward greater congruence, clarity, and emotional stability.
You will be heard here, and together we will create a treatment path that honors both your history and your capacity for change. My Style:
Trauma informed, Warm, Kind Compassionate, Attachment based, Relational, Psychodynamic, Collaborative and Compassionate, Somatic Psychology, Spirituality- Meditation
My Interests:
Life, to me, is a constant calibration between grounding and growth. When I’m not in session, you can find me rushing into a hot yoga class five minutes late but pretending I meant to power walk, laughing loudly over good food with friends and family, attempting to “hike” while mostly negotiating with my golden retriever, and planning my next trip like it’s a full-time job.
Lately, I’ve added horseback riding to the mix, which has been both humbling and empowering in equal measure. And golf? I currently both hate and love it in the same round. Nothing like a sport that teaches ego death and resilience within 18 holes. -

From Fernando’s Perspective:
My journey into the mental health field was sparked by witnessing loved ones grapple with their own mental health challenges. I quickly realized the profound impact that simple acts of listening and kindness could have on their well-being. However, I also recognized that there were times when professional intervention was necessary. I aspired to be that source of support for people when a friendly ear alone wasn't sufficient.Initially, I worked as a talk therapist for several years. During that time, I often received feedback from clients about negative experiences they had with their psychiatric prescribers, which discouraged them from continuing the psychiatric treatment they needed. This insight motivated me to shift my focus and pursue further training in psychiatric medication management.
It's not uncommon for people seeking mental health services, especially medication management, to feel apprehensive initially. My goal is to provide clear information and open communication throughout this process, so that we can collaborate effectively.
I would like to emphasize my experience working with diverse populations and highlight my commitment to providing a nonjudgmental and inclusive environment for all clients. This includes individuals from multicultural backgrounds (se habla español), LGBTQI+ communities, neurodivergent individuals, sex workers, and those in consensual non-traditional relationships (e.g., polyamory, open relationships, and individuals with asexual or aromantic identities).

Ruby Fox, Yoga & SoundBath | In Person ↧
Soundbath Every Tuesday at 7:00pm
BIO:
My name is Ruby Fox, from Ventura, California where I live with my husband and our 2 young boys.
For the longest time in my young-adult years I struggled to find my calling. I worked every odd job you can think of, started different programs I thought I loved and even received my Certificate for Interior Decorating, but the passion just wasn’t there.
After an 18 year battle with Endometriosis and having my 2 miracle boys, I had a life-altering surgery in 2020 which came with a pretty intense recovery. I had to get creative with how I could be active and re-discovered yoga, which ultimately re-connected me with my true self. I knew I needed to share the gift of yoga with anyone who would let me and started my training within a month or so.
I first became a Yoga Teacher in 2022, after completing my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, and have been teaching yoga and guided meditation ever since. Through yoga, I found Sound Healing and realized sound has always been something that was therapeutic to me. Since I was a child, music was always in the background, wind chimes were everywhere and the sound of water soothed my soul. As I got older and started to really want to learn more about sound therapy and the actual science behind what sound waves/frequencies do to our entire being.
Once again, I felt to my core, this was something I needed to share with people. I receive my Sound Therapy & Sound Healing Training in 2023 and the shift began. I was already established in a Yoga studio where I was able to start showcasing sound as I searched for different opportunities to share it. Little did I know, my neighbor owned this beautiful practice and in January of 2025, asked if I would come in and share sound with her community within VTC. I was thrilled and started weekly Sound Baths shortly thereafter.
I still teach yoga upon request/private sessions, as I believe in the power both physically and mentally it can bring anyone. However, my main focus is on Sound and Chakra Healing. My Sound Baths include sound from crystal sound bowls, koshi chimes, gong and rain stick.
Most recently, this year (2025) I completed my Crystal & Chakra Healing Certificate and I am so excited to implement those tools into the Sound Bath experience. Energy is everything and all too often, our energy is knocked off balance. The experiences I offer will help recalibrate your energy and help you to feel an overall sense of peace, mindfulness, gratitude and sense of self.
I strive to hold space for anyone and everyone, no matter your background, orientation or beliefs. Space that is non-judgmental, open, and full of love and light, in hopes of helping you heal, find yourself or even just to simply relax. I believe we all have beautiful Divine white light within us that we can tap into for ourselves, or to shine on those around us. I am here to help you find your light from within.
