Sanctuary for Providers
My Dear Colleagues,
I am genuinely grateful that you are here. My hope is that this space feels like a soft landing—a sanctuary created just for you, where you can come back to your breath, quiet your nervous system, and tend to the parts of yourself that are so often giving outward.
We are honored to offer two wellness classes exclusively for mental health providers:
Somatic Breathwork and Restorative Sound Bath.
Please know this—your well-being matters deeply to me, to Ventura Therapy Collective, and to the community we serve. I am walking alongside you in this work. My guess is that if I feel the weight of this world: the uncertainty, the holding of stories, and the potential burnout that can quietly creep in when caring comes so naturally, I wager to guess that you do as well. No matter the scale on which you work in this profession. Here we are.
Choosing to pause and care for yourself is not indulgent—it is essential. As an elder millennial, rest is not taught or encouraged. You just keep going, no matter the cost. You stepped into this profession because there is something profoundly beautiful about you. You listen deeply. You care fiercely. Your empathy is a gift.
You deserve rest. You deserve renewal. You deserve moments that remind you that your mental health is just as sacred as the care you provide.
Thank you for trusting us with this part of your journey—this return to self-compassion, presence, and your own inner wisdom.
These wellness classes are offered at no cost to you.
Please take good care,
Nyssa
Sound Bath w/ Ruby Fox
For Therapists & Healers:
Every Monday @ 9:00am in VTC Upstairs Group Room
Sound bath healing offers a gentle, nonverbal pathway for the nervous system to soften and settle. Through the resonant tones of crystal bowls, gongs, and other healing instruments, the body is invited into a state of deep rest, where emotional processing and nervous system regulation can naturally unfold. In this space, clients often experience a quieting of internal noise, a release of held tension, and a reconnection to inner resources — making it a powerful complement to therapeutic work.

Breathwork w/ Kali May
For Therapists & Healers:
First Friday Every Month @ 7:00pm in VTC Upstairs Group Room
Somatic release is the process of allowing the body to safely express and release held tension, stress, and unprocessed emotions stored in the nervous system. Through practices like movement, breath, sound, and stillness, the body is gently guided back into regulation. Rather than analyzing or fixing, somatic work honors the wisdom of the body — creating space for healing to unfold from the inside out, restoring a deeper sense of connection, safety, and wholeness.
